The Dubai section of Sheikh Zayed Road features an array of buildings that include flats, offices, hotel apartments, and rooms. According to the property listing website Bayut, the area is favored by investors, renters, and tourists due to its proximity to well-known landmarks and critical districts such as Downtown, Business Bay, JLT, and Dubai Marina.

Dubai recently introduced a new system for naming roads. The initiative’s first phase involved assigning names to roads in the Al Khawaneej 2 area inspired by local trees and flowers. For instance, Al Ghaf Street was named after one of the most popular tree species in the region. Similarly, other streets in the vicinity were given names like Al Sidr, Basil, Al Faggy, Al Samr, and Al Sharish.
